Job summary

Architecture49 is a growing Canadian architectural firm delivering large-scale projects, including public infrastructure. The senior lead will coordinate design development through construction, guiding multidisciplinary teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will mentor junior staff, manage BIM workflows in Revit, oversee budgets, plan meetings, and deliver permits, bids, and construction packages. PSPC Secret clearance eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience delivering large architecture projects from design development through construction.
• Experience leading technical teams in a fully integrated BIM environment.
• Strong knowledge of National and Provincial building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with public-sector clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical and production lead for projects and clients.
• Lead and oversee complex design development through construction completion.
• Provide strategic oversight of project budgets during design and production phases.
• Plan and facilitate client, consultant, and internal project meetings.
• Coordinate permit, bid, and construction deliverables in compliance with requirements.
• Oversee site assessments and translate conditions into design solutions.
• Mentor junior staff and promote BIM and design coordination best practices.
