Maarut is seeking a Senior Product Owner for the Capital Markets Solutions team in Montreal. You will own the product backlog and roadmap, coordinate with business analysts, and present governance-ready options to leadership. Experience with fixed income and derivatives on sell-side platforms is required.

You will balance value, risk, capacity, and timelines while guiding testing and release activities. Fluency in English and French is expected for cross-functional collaboration in a regulated

Formación

• Role held on Capital Markets technology solutions: business analyst or PO
• Segments covered: derivatives, fixed income, equities, financing
• Sell-side activities, mainly fixed income and derivatives: sales and trading platforms, order management, fixed income trade lifecycle, market and reference data, accounting, risk
• Financial products: quoting mechanisms, bond types, yield curves, credit ratings, trade valuation, fixed income derivatives (futures, swaps), risk hedging
• Project phases or lifecycle of a continuously evolving product
• Hands-on use of Jira, Confluence and backlog management practices
• Capital Markets platforms: CanDeal, GLMX, Tradeweb, ION/Fidessa/Anvil, Murex, Bloomberg, TOMS, Bloomberg Data License, BPIPE, MarkitWire or similar
• Contribution to solution design, feasibility analyses, estimates, planning and release preparation
• Client focus, rigour, autonomy, judgment, accountability, influence leadership

Responsabilidades

• Owns the product backlog and roadmap, reports on progress, risks and budget consumption, and presents options to governance committees.
• Guide and challenge the work of business and functional analysts, then coordinate business acceptance testing.
• Contribute to solution design, feasibility analyses, estimates, planning and release preparation.
• Balance value, risk, capacity, vendors and timelines with a strong client focus and accountability.
