Senior Product Marketing Manager, Amazon Canada

Amazon Canada is seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to lead marketing for seasonal shopping events, including gifting (Eg. Mother's Day, Holiday) and celebratory occasions (Eg. Diwali, Halloween). You will leverage excellent cross-functional project management skills and a detailed eye for data to develop, launch, test, and report on market-leading awareness, education, and conversion-oriented programs touching all areas of the business. The ability to manage multiple milestones and shifting requirements in a fluid, fast-moving environment—while keeping stakeholders updated on your progress—is critical to success in this position.

The ideal candidate must be able to think strategically, look at the business analytically, and implement flawlessly. They will have deep experience in merchandising and testing, demonstrated ability to drive website optimization and conversion in both mobile and online channels, and a passion for diving into data to uncover actionable insights. They will be equally comfortable generating innovative ideas for growth as well as ensuring tactical level details are executed. The ideal candidate will collaborate and inspire a positive, high-energy, results-oriented culture, creating a measurable impact across Amazon and the wider industry landscape.

We are open to hiring candidates out of Seattle, Arlington, Vancouver or Toronto.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Lead end-to-end marketing for CA retail events.
  2. Support marquee activations, including partnering with category and central teams to drive traffic.
  3. Track, measure and report on channel results, contributing to business reviews regularly; Present strategy, learnings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  4. Define and own goals, including data-driven recommendations on priorities.
  5. Be the voice of the customer for CA programs, by diving deep into consumer insights, competitive landscape and driving recommendations that help how we deliver to customers.
  6. Develop mechanisms to communicate proactively and effectively with partner teams and senior leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  2. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  3. Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
  4. Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  5. Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis.
  2. Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
