Jobbeschreibung

You believe great product marketing starts long before launch day. You know how to uncover what customers really need, translate complex products into compelling stories, and bring teams together to drive market adoption and growth.

Smart, Savvy + Associates is partnering with a growing Canadian tech company in their search for a Senior Product Marketing Manager.

In this newly created role, you'll help shape how products are developed, positioned, launched, and adopted. Working closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, you'll bring market research and customer insights into the product development process, ensuring new products solve real problems and deliver meaningful value.

You'll lead go-to-market strategies, develop messaging and positioning, and create content that connects product capabilities with customer needs. But your work won't end at launch. You'll also focus on driving adoption, improving retention, and measuring the success of new products and features.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced product marketer who enjoys working across the entire product lifecycle. You'll join a collaborative, fast-moving team where curiosity, initiative, and the ability to influence others are highly valued.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for product launches, including positioning, messaging, campaign planning, and launch execution.
  • Conduct customer and market research that inform product decisions.
  • Partner with Product teams early in the development process, bringing customer insights and commercial considerations into product strategy.
  • Create compelling product marketing content, including sales enablement materials, customer communications, presentations, demo scripts and digital content, that resonate with customers.
  • Develop strategies that drive product adoption and retention, including customer education, onboarding, and lifecycle communications.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to ensure teams are equipped to communicate product value and support successful launches.
  • Analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to evaluate results and recommend improvements.
  • Help strengthen product marketing processes, improve cross-functional collaboration, and guide less-experienced colleagues.
What You Bring
  • 6+ years of experience in product marketing within B2B, SaaS, or technology.
  • Strong experience across the product lifecycle, from customer discovery and market research through go-to-market execution and post-launch optimization.
  • Proven ability to conduct customer and market research independently, using qualitative and quantitative insights to inform strategy.
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex product features into clear, compelling customer benefits.
  • Experience developing product positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies that drive measurable adoption and growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and a focus on business outcomes, not simply marketing deliverables.
  • Confidence collaborating with internal teams, building relationships and influencing decisions without formal authority.
  • A proactive, organized and adaptable approach, with experience managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience developing customer onboarding, in-product education or lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other product marketers.
