SOTI Inc in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the product line lifecycle from strategy to tactics. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to define market requirements, drive outcomes, and advocate for customers.

You’ll collaborate with development, marketing and sales to produce collateral, train support teams, and support large opportunities at industry events. A strong background in enterprise software/SaaS and IP networks is required.

You will work alongside SOTI’s partners which include leading tech giants that will keep you on the cusp of emerging technologies.What You’ll Do:Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activitiesSpecifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits and phone calls to customers and non-customersDriving a solution set across development teams through the authoring of requirements and user stories. Daily interaction with software developers and testers.Work with Marketing to produce product collateral and sales toolsTrain both Sales Support and Technical Support in the use and operations of the productOccasionally support Sales team during the sale process including possible assistance in the demonstration and deployment of the product (typically only for large opportunities or key customers)Attend Industry Conferences and Trade Shows and make presentations as requiredMaintain current knowledge of competitive product positioning, feature sets and messagingWhat You’ll Bring:Experience in product management within an enterprise software or SaaS environment.Good technical knowledge of IP related networks, architecture, design and management as it relates to telecommunications and managed hosting industriesDemonstrated success defining and launching excellent productsDemonstrated understanding of software development and product life cycleExcellent writing, communications, customer service and interpersonal skillsConfidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customersPolish and professionalism in creating and delivering presentations and training sessions to a diverse set of groups, customizing messaging to suit the audienceAbility to effectively conduct formal and informal training sessions or presentations.Solid multi-tasking and problem resolution abilitiesAbility to effectively and efficiently instruct and guide customers on-site, online, and via telephone is essentialAbility to prioritize and manage time effectivelyQuick learner with desire to learn new tools and techniquesDemonstrated ability to work independently and partner effectively within and outside your immediate team to achieve desired business resultsExperience in agile software development methodologyMBA + Computer Science or Engineering degree a plusSolid understanding of the latest software technologies, trends and strategiesIndustry certifications, macOS X, Linux, and Windows Server experience and Foreign languages experience is a plusThis position requires travel and trade show attendance (must maintain a valid passport at all times)The targeted compensation for this position is in between $120,000 CAD - $140,000 CAD annually.
