Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or project management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing products through the full lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in pricing, business case development, and market analysis.
  • Experience working with OEM customers and contract manufacturers is preferred.
  • Building products, plumbing, or related manufacturing industry experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Our client, a well-established manufacturer serving the building products industry, is seeking a Product Manager to lead product strategy and lifecycle management across a growing portfolio.

Reporting to senior leadership, this individual will be responsible for driving new product development, commercialization, and ongoing portfolio optimization. The role works cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to bring innovative products to market while supporting long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management from concept through commercialization.

Drive new product development and enhancements to existing product lines.

Develop business cases, pricing strategies, market analysis, and ROI assessments.

Coordinate product launches and commercialization activities.

Research market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to identify growth opportunities.

Collaborate with internal teams and external OEM partners to ensure successful product development and execution.

Support technical documentation, product training, and sales enablement.

Monitor product performance and recommend improvements, cost optimization, and lifecycle decisions.
