Husky Technologies is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive system‑level design and tooling development for injection molding. You will lead cross‑functional teams, participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Based in Bolton, ON, the role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and extensive design experience in tooling and plastics processing. You will mentor others and help deliver innovative products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of design experience in a relevant industry.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and strong presentation skills.
• Specialized knowledge within injection molding, tooling and plastics processing.
• CAD modeling with Unigraphics preferred.
• Ability to lead and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• System level design with limited guidance and no standard reference.
• Product Architect and developer of injection molding tooling.
• Develop business cases and evaluate them with stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑functional teams in tool design following a formal product process.
• Lead design reviews and validate design documents and plans.
• Ensure engineering documentation and component sizing are accurate.
• Apply engineering principles and risk mitigation (FMEA).
• Represent Husky technically to customers and partners.
