The Role and Responsibilities
- Gather and understand requirements from key partners to identify gaps and deliver solutions.
- Manage the design iteration process for new and existing products; estimate resources and timelines.
- Develop effective UI/UX designs; make iterative improvements to user interactions.
- Conduct requirement gathering meetings and research; clarify and adapt designs to meet business needs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design deliverables.
- Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor junior designers, setting high standards for design quality.
- Optional: Video editing, animation, and compositing skills.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to build prototypes and conduct user testing.
- Strive for best-in-class execution in all projects.
Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7+ years of UI/UX design or related experience.
- Experience in front-end development or working closely with developers is required.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools like Adobe CC, Figma, Sketch, etc.
Skills
- Creative thinking and applying design principles to exceed expectations.
- Ability to learn and use various software tools.
- Strong layout skills, including iconography, typography, and color usage.
