Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our growing Product Design team. This role is open to candidates across Canada, excluding Quebec. If you are near one of our hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto), you will be expected to work in the office at least twice a week on our designated Anchor Days.

What your team does:

Clio aims to revolutionize legal tech by integrating design deeply into our R&D. You will shape how lawyers interact with our software, focusing on creating intuitive, scalable, and impactful solutions. From concept to delivery, you will champion user-centered design and collaborate closely with product managers and engineers.

What you’ll work on:

1. Champion User-Centered Design: Advocate for user needs based on research and best practices.
2. Bar Raising UX Solutions: Develop comprehensive UX documentation, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction specifications.
3. Contribute to Product Requirements: Work with cross-functional teams to translate user needs and business goals into experience requirements.
4. Drive User Research: Conduct usability testing, interviews, and surveys to inform design decisions.
5. Develop Interaction Models & Prototypes: Create high-fidelity prototypes for testing and demonstration.
6. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers for seamless execution.
7. Iterate and Improve: Refine designs based on feedback and data analysis.
8. Contribute to Design Systems & Standards: Uphold consistency and scalability across the platform.
9. Mentor & Guide Junior Designers: Provide guidance and foster a collaborative environment.
10. Present & Communicate Design Concepts: Clearly articulate design rationale to stakeholders.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of product design experience; SaaS experience preferred.
• Proven track record of shipping successful products and solving customer problems.
• Proficient in user research methodologies and translating findings into design insights.
• Expert in tools like Figma, Miro, etc.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, usability, visual design, and accessibility.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Experience with complex projects and systems.
• Experience with Design Systems.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with enterprise software.
• Experience with data visualization and information architecture.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards.

Clio offers a competitive total rewards package, including salary, health benefits, flexible work arrangements, and recognition programs. The full salary range for this role is $128,400 to $173,600 CAD, with final offers based on experience and location.
