Victaulic in Brampton, ON is seeking a Product Application Specialist to join our Application Engineering Team. You will provide technical expertise and engineering support for Victaulic products and system solutions within the mining and oil & gas industries, collaborating with customers, sales teams, engineers, and industry stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical piping systems and applications.
• Experience with industrial mining and/or oil & gas systems.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards including ASME, AWWA, CSA, ASTM, API, and CRNs.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Travel up to 30% domestically, with occasional international travel.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, technical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in Victaulic products and system solutions.
• Provide engineering consulting support to sales teams.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers, owners, engineers, contractors, code officials, and installers.
• Address customer challenges and perform root-cause investigations.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations based on findings.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Product Management, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Leadership to identify improvements.
• Deliver presentations, training, and seminars to employees, distributors, engineers, and customers.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging customer needs.
