ARCO Design / Build is looking for an individual with extensive procurement experience to help create organizational systems that drive value, consistency, and strategic partnerships in a growing firm. This role can be located in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Houston, or other ADB locations.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Assist in developing a Procurement Process to standardize best practices for purchasing project materials and managing subcontractors. Responsibilities include :

  • Training Design Build Managers on procurement strategies
  • Creating negotiation tactics for win-win contracts
  • Managing project-specific templates, reports, and tools
  • Negotiating corporate agreements with company executives
  • Identifying and mitigating risks
  • Developing systems to select suitable partners
  • Driving measurable value

Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, including :

  • Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers on over 300 projects annually
  • Conducting market research and assessing trends
  • Monitoring supplier performance and compliance
  • Ensuring adherence to policies and regulations

Build relationships with supplier C-Suite Executives to :

  • Understand pricing and supply trends
  • Negotiate rebates from key suppliers

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, construction, or business management
  • 5-12 years of experience in procurement or construction purchasing
  • Experience with supplier quality and material management
  • Proficiency in managing purchase orders and dispute resolution
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to challenge conventional thinking and proactively solve problems
