Earls Kitchen + Bar is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for a 14-month contract in Vancouver, BC. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who excels in negotiations, relationship-building, and balancing quality, cost, and timelines.

In this role, you will:

1. Lead strategic sourcing and forecasting to ensure procurement aligns with market trends and business needs.
2. Build and manage supplier partnerships, drive negotiations, and ensure vendor accountability.
3. Monitor industry trends to anticipate shifts and identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings.
4. Manage the full vendor lifecycle, including selection, contracting, and performance review.
5. Lead crisis response for supply chain disruptions, sourcing alternatives swiftly.
6. Navigate food safety, perishability, and logistics to support quality and compliance.
7. Collaborate with teams like Culinary, Marketing, and Design to integrate procurement strategies.
8. Mentor and develop junior procurement team members.
9. Develop process documentation and support procurement strategy implementation.

Qualifications include:

1. 6+ years in Procurement/Supply Chain, preferably in food & beverage or hospitality.
2. 2+ years leading teams, with experience in coaching and development.
3. Degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Hospitality, or related.
4. Proven vendor negotiation and partnership skills.
5. Knowledge of food safety regulations and logistics.
6. Ability to manage risk and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
