Job summary

Black & Veatch invites a Senior Process Engineer to lead the design of water and wastewater systems for industrial clients across energy, mining, technology, and food sectors. You will apply advanced treatment concepts and develop and present technical evaluations to clients and stakeholders.

You will be part of a team delivering design and procurement for water treatment systems, with flexible hybrid work options after onboarding and strong growth opportunities in a global engineering practice.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in engineering with PE licensure or ability to obtain.
• Professional Engineer registration preferred or willingness to pursue.
• Strong consulting, project execution and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering design of water and wastewater treatment and delivery systems.
• Prepare PFDs, Water Balances, MSDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets and specifications.
• Perform complex research and recommendations for equipment and materials selection.
• Manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Plan and conduct independent evaluation and adaptation of engineering techniques.
• Review lower-level work and oversee data management for projects.
• Oversee smaller production teams and act as project lead as needed.
