Job summary

Clio, the global leader in legal AI technology, seeks a Senior Privacy Analyst to lead and mature our privacy program across GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, and more. You will collaborate with Legal, Engineering, Security, and Product teams to embed privacy by design and manage DPIAs/PIAs for new features and processing activities.

You will drive DSAR workflows, policy development, and training while staying ahead of evolving privacy laws and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Privacy certifications (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) required.
5+ years of direct experience in privacy program management, data protection, or related role.
Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA; ISO/NIST familiarity a plus.
Experience developing privacy policies, procedures, and controls.
Experience conducting DPIAs/PIAs.
Experience managing DSAR workflows and tools.
Strong program and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain and adapt the privacy program, policies, and internal knowledge base.
Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA in existing and emerging markets.
Define and report on key privacy metrics.
Conduct DPIAs, PIAs, LIAs for products and processing activities.
Develop and update privacy training and awareness programs.
Manage DSAR workflows and coverage across platforms in scope.
Partner with Legal, Engineering, Security, IT, Marketing, HR, and Sales to embed Privacy by Design.
Contribute to Incident Response and Business Continuity programs.
Assist in review of third-party DPAs and vendor privacy practices.
Monitor evolving privacy laws and advise on necessary changes.
