The ideal candidate will lead Privacy Impact Assessments, manage multiple projects, and provide strategic guidance on data handling. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this role, which involves supporting client engagements and developing privacy programs.

Qualifications

• 36 years of experience in privacy compliance, legal, or data protection roles, preferably with Canadian privacy law exposure.
• Hands-on experience with Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) is a MUST.
• Experience working in or with a consulting environment is a PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Provide strategic privacy guidance on data handling and risk assessments.
• Collaborate in developing and updating privacy policies and procedures.
