Zohorecruit in Toronto, Ontario seeks a Senior Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist to guide planning and development of PIAs, ensuring compliance with FIPPA, MFIPPA, PHIPA and other privacy laws. The role requires 7–10 years of experience and strong leadership and analytical skills.

You will lead cross‑jurisdictional reviews, manage PIA resources, advise IT clients, and drive privacy strategy across ministries and agencies.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of privacy laws and how they apply to public sector programs.
• Ability to interpret privacy regulations and communicate requirements.
• Experience with Privacy Impact Assessments in public sector contexts.
• Familiarity with OPS PIA processes and privacy best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the planning and development of PIAs for new technologies or programs.
• Provide guidance on privacy laws across provincial and federal levels.
• Manage PIA resources and intake queues to optimize delivery.
• Advise staff and manage deadlines and workload.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to align projects with privacy requirements.
• Collaborate on cross-cluster teams to implement privacy commitments.
• Analyze policy proposals for privacy implications and strategy.
