Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Principal Presales Consultant to deliver technical sales support and industry knowledge, helping generate new opportunities and growth. The role is customer-facing, balancing presales skills, technology application, and domain experience across EPC and related industries.

You will demonstrate AVEVA solutions, run demos and PoCs, and contribute to proposals while building trusted advisor relationships with clients. Travel within North America is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or comparable professional qualification.
• 10–15 years in EPCs and capital project design/execution.
• 7–10 years with AVEVA’s Engineering solutions.
• 7–10 years in Oil & Gas, Marine, Mining, Chemical, Power & Utilities or Infrastructure industries.
• 5–7 years in Presales, Business Development, Field Services, or Customer Support.
• Proven experience with technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent oral presentation skills for events and speaking engagements.
• Strong consultative and complex portfolio selling.

Responsibilities

• Enable sales growth through the AVEVA Engineering portfolio by driving revenue by qualifying leads.
• Understand the AVEVA Engineering portfolio and how to position it for digital delivery of EPC projects.
• Connect with prospects to understand needs and devise appropriate solutions.
• Develop engineering data, run demos/PoCs and solutioneer from scratch.
• Contribute to proposals to solve specific prospect needs.
• Communicate the value proposition of AVEVA solutions at presentations, workshops and industry events.
• Obtain and maintain customer trust as the technical solution expert.
