Job summary

Horizon Aircraft, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer – Systems (Powerplant) in the Montreal area with travel to Lindsay, ON. Lead engine and powerplant integration, develop interfaces, and support certification for innovative propulsion systems within a small, cross-disciplinary team.

You will collaborate with Propulsion, Structures, Aerodynamics, Systems, Flight Sciences and Manufacturing to define architecture and ensure compliant, certifiable installation solutions for hybrid powerplants.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with strong propulsion knowledge.
• 5+ years in aircraft powerplant engineering, propulsion integration or systems engineering.
• Familiarity with ARP 4754B and certification standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration of engines, powerplant components and related systems on the aircraft.
• Define aircraft-powerplant interfaces and manage installation concepts.
• Support certification activities and flight-test requirements.
• Collaborate across Propulsion, Structures, Aerodynamics and Certification teams.
