Job summary

Atura Power seeks a Maintenance Manager at Napanee Generating Station to lead the maintenance program, ensure safe and compliant plant operations, and supervise technicians and planners. The role requires availability after hours and weekends as needed.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will drive maintenance strategies, manage resources, and coordinate contract services to maintain high plant availability and reliability across a 900 MW combined-cycle facility and the associated BESS.

Qualifications

• Red Seal or professional engineer status.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in power plants.
• Experience in maintenance planning and execution for combined-cycle facilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Supervisory experience in a union environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to continuously improve health, safety, reliability, and plant availability.
• Oversee maintenance documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Manage resources including people, finances, materials, and time.
• Develop and maintain maintenance programs and outage planning.
• Coordinate contract services and on-call emergency response.
• Lead department strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Manage O&M budget and vendor contracts.
• Plan bi-annual outages and ensure safe operations.
