Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver complex power projects across Eastern Canada and beyond.

You will lead multi-discipline efforts (Substations, Transmission Lines, Distribution, Electrical Studies), coordinate with diverse teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role emphasizes client relationship management, proposals, and business development in a Greater Toronto Area setting.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (P.Eng designation preferred) or technical diploma.
• PMP certification is considered an asset.
• 15+ years of progressive project management experience in the Utilities industry.
• Expertise in project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support in managing proposals on different opportunities including proposal team assembly, Go-No-Go process, proposal drafting and finalization, and estimation.
• Manage existing and new Power projects for multiple clients and across different disciplines (Substations, Transmission Lines, Distribution, Electrical Studies).
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and monthly cost reporting.
• Manage the program KPIs and report on them regularly
• Facilitate project communication across engineering, construction, procurement, and client teams.
• Contribute to quality assurance by reviewing deliverables for compliance and accuracy.
• Support contract administration, change management, and procurement activities.
