Job summary

ITC Infotech in Vancouver, Canada, seeks a Senior/Lead Power BI Developer to design and optimize enterprise dashboards and semantic models. You will partner with stakeholders, BSAs, data engineers, and delivery leads to translate KPIs into scalable reporting solutions.

The role requires strong hands-on Power BI development, advanced DAX, performance tuning, governance, security, and mentoring junior developers while ensuring delivery quality.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of IT/data analytics experience with significant hands-on Power BI delivery.
• Expertise in Power BI Desktop/Service, Power Query, DAX, data modeling, semantic model design, and report visualization standards.
• Advanced DAX skills with time intelligence, KPI logic, and reusable measures.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, performance tuning, and working with relational or cloud data platforms.
• Experience implementing RLS, workspace governance, deployment pipelines, and access management.
• Experience using Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, Performance Analyzer, and Power BI monitoring/ optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, star schema, incremental refresh, and data quality validation.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and reports aligned to business KPIs.
• Translate business requirements and KPI definitions into optimized reporting solutions with stakeholders and data teams.
• Build and optimize data models using star schema principles and relationships.
• Develop and tune advanced DAX measures for performance and accuracy.
• Implement and maintain Row-Level Security and governance standards.
