BC Pension Corporation in Victoria, BC, is seeking a Senior Policy Analyst to lead policy development, analysis, and implementation for pension plans. You will advise pension boards, the corporate board, and executive leadership on legislative and policy matters, and drive creation and amendments of plan rules and directives.
You’ll present to boards, identify issues, design research methods, and resolve complex cases involving members and employers.
Salary Range: $91,039.01 to $103,840.11 per annum

This position is located in our Victoria, BC office. You will have the flexibility to work part of the time on-campus and part of the time off-campus. The requirement for on-campus presence is a minimum of 40% of your schedule in a month.

We are seeking a Senior Policy Analyst to join our team in VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.
The Senior Policy Analyst will lead the development, analysis, and implementation of policies and directives that guide the administration of pension plans. This role is central to advising pension boards, the corporate board, and executive leadership on legislative and policy matters, while also driving the creation of new policies and reviewing amendments to plan rules and corporate directives.
You’ll be responsible for presenting to pension boards of trustees and committees, identifying and analyzing emerging issues, designing research and project methodologies, and resolving complex cases involving plan members and employers. This is a high-impact role that demands deep policy expertise, excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments with confidence and clarity.
Master's degree in a related field (pension administration, public administration, business administration, law, economics or social sciences) and two years of related experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field (pension administration, public administration, business administration, law, economics or social sciences) and five years of related experience
