Job summary

NORR, an employee-owned, integrated Architecture and Engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Ottawa to plan and manage projects, ensuring contractual commitments are met on time and within budget. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team and apply strong interpersonal and leadership skills while understanding project financials to determine resources for successful execution.

The role requires some flexibility to work from the Ottawa office as required, and a personnel with 15+

Qualifications

• Requires 15+ years of project work experience.
• Experience in public projects is an asset.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to forecast revenue.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, develop, monitor, and control scope, work plans, schedules, and budgets for all project stages.
• Develop detailed work plans for architectural and engineering disciplines and monitor progress.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team in QA/QC for deliverables like drawings and specs.
• Maintain project scope understanding and negotiate changes to meet client obligations.
• Coordinate with contractors, sub-consultants, and authorities on constructability issues.
• Serve as primary liaison with client, contractor, and project team to maintain relationships.
