Job summary

MedMe Health is hiring a senior platform engineer (infrastructure and observability) for Nova in Toronto. You’ll own major platform initiatives, deepen AWS/CDK know‑how (TypeScript), and help consolidate deployment pipelines with a bias for accuracy.

Join a small, high‑trust team, collaborate with global pods, and help shape security, compliance, and multi‑region footprints as our platform expands.

Qualifications

• Real seniority — you've operated production infrastructure at scale, you've been on call for it.
• Strong Terraform experience — this is non‑negotiable for us.
• Hands‑on AWS CDK experience, ideally in TypeScript.
• A working base in EST or close to it, so you overlap with Canadian and Indonesia teams.
• A bias toward accuracy over speed — get infra right the first time.
• Bonus: cloud providers beyond AWS (GCP or Azure) and/or experience in healthcare/HIPAA/SOC 2.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of at least one major platform initiative end to end (HIPAA audit logging, observability, or infra consolidation).
• Deepen the AWS and CDK setup to make confident changes and reduce per-repo sprawl.
• Be the default go‑to for infrastructure questions across pods to distribute requests.
• Own the deployment pipeline story, moving from bespoke per‑repo setups to a configurable solution.
• Drive security and compliance posture in partnership with the Security & Compliance Enablement Engineer.
• Help set technical direction for the platform as footprint grows across regions and cloud providers.
