Job summary

Autodesk’s Analytics Data division is building DataOS, a modern platform that powers analytics and data workloads across Autodesk. The Infra Platform team provides core services for provisioning and operating compute, storage, orchestration, and other data infrastructure through secure, self-service experiences.

You will design, build, and operate backend services, APIs, and platform components, with ownership from design to production operation, partnering with product managers and data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Java, Python, or a similar language.
• Experience building backend services, APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, containers, and production operations.
• Ability to independently deliver and operate moderately complex technical capabilities.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services, APIs, and platform components.
• Create abstractions that simplify access to compute, storage, orchestration, and tenant resources.
• Build automation for provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational recovery.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Develop self-service workflows and tools for analytics and data teams.
• Contribute to distributed systems supporting batch, streaming, and interactive workloads.
• Partner with product managers, architects, data engineers, and platform users to deliver practical solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, documentation, and on-call support.
• Take ownership of capabilities from design through production operation.
