Job summary

Raise is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join a hybrid team in Toronto, ON, building and supporting cloud platform capabilities in Azure. You will drive infrastructure automation, standardization, and secure design to enable cloud-native apps, APIs, microservices, and AI workloads.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, architecture, security, and delivery teams to create scalable, resilient platform solutions and streamline deployment and operational processes.

Qualifications

8+ years of total experience in platform, cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
Experience designing and supporting Azure cloud environments.
Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
Kubernetes and Docker container platforms.
CI/CD pipeline development and optimization.
Automation scripting using Python.
Cloud platform operations, scalability, resiliency, and security.
Monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
Authentication, authorization, and access control implementation.

Responsibilities

The Senior Platform Engineer will design, build, and support reusable cloud platform capabilities in Azure.
Partner with engineering, architecture, security, and delivery teams to create scalable, resilient platform solutions while improving deployment and operations.
