Platform Engineer - Senior

• Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid
• Pay Rate: $89.88/hr - $103.89/hr
• Contract Length: 6 Months

We at Raise are hiring a Platform Engineer - Senior for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting reusable cloud platform capabilities in Azure. This role focuses on enabling cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, and emerging AI workloads through infrastructure automation, platform standardization, and engineering best practices.
• The successful candidate will have strong experience with Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Python scripting, observability, and secure platform design. They will partner closely with engineering, architecture, security, and delivery teams to create scalable, resilient, and automated platform solutions while continuously improving deployment and operational processes.

Must Have Requirement

• 8+ Years total experience
• Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Designing and supporting Azure cloud environments.
• Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
• Kubernetes and Docker container platforms.
• CI/CD pipeline development and optimization.
• Automation scripting using Python.
• Cloud platform operations, scalability, resiliency, and security.
• Monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Authentication, authorization, and access control implementation.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting GenAI, AI/ML, or RAG platforms.
• Azure API Management (APIM).
