Thomson Power Systems, a Regal Rexnord company, in Langley, BC, seeks a Senior Plant Manager to lead operations and drive EHS, quality, and financial objectives through the Regal Rexnord Business System.

You will build a high-performing team, champion lean improvements, manage CapEx and cost-out programs, and partner with suppliers and leaders to meet the AOP and long-term strategies.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership in operations/manufacturing.
• 3+ years as a plant manager in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated financial and business acumen.
• Lean continuous improvement tools (5S, Standard work, Visual management).
• ISO 9001-2015 knowledge.
• Must be legally authorized in Canada without sponsorship.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

The opportunity: Thomson Power Systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the power generation industry for over 50 years. We are currently seeking a talented Senior Plant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead and manage the Thomson Power Systems operations in Langley, BC to achieve EHS, operational excellence, financial, quality, and employee engagement objectives through the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS). They will play a key role in creating a vision to achieve our Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long‑term strategic objectives. Main responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team to achieve AOP and strategic goals.
• Drive a culture of zero-incident through effective EHS initiatives per OSHA and EPA.
• Provide effective leadership, coaching, and mentorship to business leaders.
• Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives through the RBS to improve SQDIC.
• Develop and execute strategic CapEx and cost out plans to meet business objectives.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with key internal and external suppliers.
• Communicate key production metrics to business leaders and associates as required.
• Partner with business leaders to provide the best service for customers.
• Build organization capability by creating a strong employee culture and engagement.
• Demonstrate a leadership style that aligns with Regal Rexnord values.
• Be the central point of contact for the business on operations related inquiries.

Education, experience and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of experience in progressive leadership levels in operations, continuous improvement or related function in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience as a plant manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated financial and business acumen.
• Demonstrated knowledge of lean continuous improvement tools (5S, Standard work, Visual management, Value stream map, and problem solving).
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO9001-2015.
• Must be legally authorized in Canada without company sponsorship.

Skills

• Effective communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
• Working knowledge of ERP and MRP tools such as SAP or equivalent.Demonstrated ability to relate to senior executives and industry peers.
• Exposure to Engineer-to-Order and/or Configured-to-Order manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to low voltage or medium voltage electrical products.Must be legally authorized to work in the Canada without company sponsorship.Able to travel across North America up to 15%.

  Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000 CAD The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
