AtkinsRéalis is currently looking for Senior Feeder/Piping Engineer(s) to join our engineering team in Mississauga. The work supports Life Extension Projects and New Build projects, requiring a technical role in the design and analysis of feeder piping, supports, and inline components. This is a permanent position.

Your Role Within The Team
- This position requires a self-motivated individual capable of working independently or under the guidance of a senior engineer, to develop their career in the nuclear field. The candidate should follow instructions from a qualified professional engineer to complete assigned mechanical scopes and develop necessary engineering documentation.
- The qualified individual will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Performing engineering work following AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy QA programs, applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Coordinating with clients, suppliers, stakeholders, and other design disciplines to execute engineering tasks.
- Involvement in conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of CANDU or nuclear process systems and modifications.
- Preparing detailed designs of piping supports, pipe sizing, and layouts using software like S3D, Navisworks, and Smart Plant Review.
- Conducting engineering computations and analyses using software such as PipeStress, CaesarII, AutoPipe, MATLAB, MathCAD, ANSYS Mechanical, and LSDYNA.
- Modeling complex piping and support arrangements using finite element techniques.
- Performing pipe stress evaluations in accordance with ASME codes.
- Executing thermal, fatigue, seismic, and nonlinear analyses as per relevant standards.
- Preparing Design Change Packages (DCP) and Notices (DCN) following customer procedures.
- Creating technical documents, including drawings, calculations, reports, specifications, and data sheets.
- Preparing TSSA registration packages for pressure boundary modifications.
- Requisitioning equipment and materials, reviewing supplier documents, and analyzing bids.
- Providing technical guidance to junior staff and leading technical packages when required.
- Performing site visits, field walk-downs, supporting construction and commissioning activities, and providing engineering resolutions.
- Completing scopes within budget, schedule, and quality standards.

The Ideal Candidate
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Mandatory P.Eng license.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within heavy industrial environments, preferably nuclear.
- Knowledge of mechanical and piping systems, with familiarity with CANDU systems as an asset.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (CSA, ASME, ANSI).
- Experience in stress analysis software and nuclear piping design is preferred.
- Qualified or eligible for ASME Appendix XXIII is an asset.
- Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to become a Nuclear Energy Worker (NEW).
