Job summary

Worley in Canada West Engineering is seeking a Lead Piping Engineer to provide senior technical leadership across large capital projects. You will oversee piping delivery, mentor engineers, and ensure safety, quality and compliance with Worley standards.

The role requires extensive piping experience, strong leadership, and the ability to drive EPC/EPCM project execution in a dynamic energy environment. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Extensive piping engineering experience across energy, chemicals, mining & metals, infrastructure.
• Proven senior technical leader on large capital projects or multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping design principles, standards and project execution methodologies.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM project delivery environments.
• Familiarity with piping stress analysis and related analysis tools.
• Proficiency with piping engineering tools and MS Office; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping engineering on large capital projects or portfolios, ensuring technical excellence and safety.
• Mentor teams of piping engineers and designers (up to ~15).
• Coordinate staffing, budgets, schedules and deliverables with project leadership.
• Ensure adherence to Worley standards, procedures, and governance across projects.
• Identify risks early and implement corrective actions; support proposal and execution efforts.
