Job summary

Aplin is helping an Edmonton-based client recruit an experienced Construction Piping Coordinator. The role leads piping construction, oversees contractor execution, and ensures safety, quality, and schedule adherence on large industrial projects.

The successful candidate will review plans, approve execution strategies, and coordinate multi-discipline interfaces to drive turnover and project readiness in a demanding field environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive industrial construction leadership experience with extensive piping construction expertise.
• Experience directing contractor activities and leading field execution on large projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specs and apply judgment to field decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner’s representative and construction leader for all piping activities.
• Direct and oversee contractor execution of piping installation, welding, testing, and turnover.
• Lead construction execution while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and turnover performance.
• Review and approve contractor work plans, methodologies, and permits.
• Coordinate interfaces between piping and other disciplines and manage risk.
