What You'll Do

As a Senior Pipeline Developer in our Quixel team, you will leverage Python, VEX, C++, and Houdini to develop efficient tools for photogrammetry asset creation and processing. Your responsibilities include maintaining Python modules, engaging in C++ development for Houdini and Unreal Engine, designing workflows, optimizing procedural systems, and collaborating with technical and creative teams to evolve the pipeline with an emphasis on automation.

In this role, you will

• Develop and maintain photogrammetry processing pipelines focused on geometry and texture manipulation
• Create efficient tools using Python, VEX, C++, and Houdini for photogrammetry assets
• Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to deploy automation tools
• Maintain Python modules supporting production tools
• Engage in C++ development for Houdini and Unreal Engine tasks
• Drive automation initiatives to improve consistency, scalability, and reduce costs
• Handle integration tasks involving libraries like CGAL and Unreal Engine mesh processing tools

What We're Looking For

• Expertise in Python, VEX, C++, Houdini, with a strong foundation in geometry and texture manipulation
• Experience developing robust production pipelines, especially in photogrammetry
• Practical knowledge of Houdini and Unreal Engine; C++ skills are a plus
• Strong collaboration skills across time zones
• Excellent communication, including concise weekly reporting
• Ability to design workflows and optimize procedural systems with a focus on automation
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
• Commitment to industry trends and technological advancements
