COOEC Canada Company is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support processing facilities and field locations in Alberta. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, read drawings, and produce field sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.

Qualifications

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Journeyman.
  • Preference for multiple trade designations or multi-skilled experience.
  • Excellent problem solving and planning skills to optimize work plans.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in maintenance of all processing facilities and field locations.
  • Perform or manage troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Support facility engineering on approved MOC scopes of work.
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety, reliability, and maintenance costs.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements.
  • Make detailed sketches and field decisions for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
  • Operate cold cutting equipment.
  • Conduct hydro testing.
  • Prepare and install structural steel.
  • Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair pressurized piping systems.
  • Ensure effective communication with operations, maintenance and management staff.
  • Maintain superior housekeeping standards.
