Murata Power Solutions Inc. in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a PCB design engineer for the Toronto Design Centre.

You will design multilayer AC/DC and DC/DC PCBs and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, safety and NPI engineers to meet electrical, thermal, and manufacturing requirements using Cadence Allegro. This on-site role offers one flex day per week of remote work, a 75k–85k CAD salary, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of PCB design experience preferred.
• Experience with analog and/or power electronics PCB design preferred.
• Proficiency with Cadence Allegro or comparable PCB design software.
• Experience with PCB library creation and maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design multilayer, high-density AC/DC and DC/DC PCBs.
• Apply electronics knowledge to PCB design and layout.
• Create and maintain footprints, libraries, and symbols.
• Interface with PCB vendors to resolve data issues.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot PCB designs.
• Communicate across internal teams and external partners.
