Description

As a key member of our team, you will drive our Total Rewards & operational strategies forward. Your payroll expertise, collaboration skills, and analytical insights will influence strategic decisions and improve our processes. You will work closely with internal partners, including P&C leadership, business stakeholders, and external agencies, to shape the future of work.

Responsibilities

• Support biweekly, monthly, and quarterly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with TELUS policies, legislation, and audit requirements.
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members on payroll compliance and best practices.
• Leverage SAP payroll system to support deliverables and lead the annual T4 and Relevé 1 programs.
• Maintain internal documentation related to payroll and benefits.
• Act as a Trusted Advisor, resolving escalated issues and collaborating with partners.
• Provide business insights, maintain compliance, and support process improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll and compliance experience, preferably in large corporate environments, with knowledge of federal and provincial regulations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with CRA and Revenu Québec.
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP HR, and Finance modules.
• University degree or college diploma in Business, PCP, or PLP designation.

Nice-to-haves

• CHRP or CPA designation.
• Bilingual in English and French.
• Experience in a unionized environment.
