Mobis Parts Canada Corporation (MPCA) seeks a seasoned Legal Counsel & Compliance Advisor to serve as the primary legal and compliance resource. Reporting to the Head of Department, Senior Manager, Process Improvement & Compliance, the role covers commercial, governance, regulatory, employment, insurance, and risk management matters.

Qualifications

• JD/LL.B. from an accredited institution.
• Licensed to practice law in Ontario.
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience in private practice or in-house.
• Experience advising management on corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance matters.
• Ability to work independently as primary legal advisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance to management and departments across the organization.
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and maintain compliance programs.
• Support corporate governance, records, and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate with external counsel as needed and manage budget and strategy.
