Senior P&C Business Partner for Engineering & Technology

What you'll do:

As a People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner in the newly established P&C Business Partnering Team for Engineering & Technology, you'll be a strategic partner to executives, senior managers, and leadership teams in Product Engineering (PE) and Technology & Innovation (T&I).

You will act as a trusted strategic partner, providing consulting, insights, and guidance on all relevant P&C topics.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Providing strategic consulting to the Senior Leadership Team to support SAP’s transformation goals.
  2. Driving the SAP People Agenda's strategic priorities and ensuring execution within the Business Area, influencing solutions with P&C services and practices (e.g., Total Rewards, Talent Discovery, Diversity & Inclusion).
  3. Translating business needs into P&C strategies and initiatives to facilitate transformation and cultural change.
  4. Supporting the development and implementation of global HR programs across all P&C areas.

What you bring:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in People & Culture/HR Business Partner roles, preferably in a matrixed, international environment.
  • Understanding of SAP’s strategy, business model, and organizational structure.
  • Strong consulting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Project management experience in transformational initiatives.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and support decision-making.
  • Proven ability to lead change and drive business impact.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Cultural awareness and adaptability.
  • High integrity and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (verbal & written).

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP values pay transparency as part of our commitment to equity. The targeted annualized salary range for this role is $88,800–$191,100 USD, including base and variable incentives. Actual offers depend on education, skills, experience, location, and other factors.
