Job summary

Stoakley-Stewart Consultants Ltd. in Mississauga, ON is seeking a VP/Director of Operations to lead a packaging manufacturing operation. The role blends strategic direction with hands-on plant-floor leadership, driving productivity, quality and cost efficiency.

You will oversee manufacturing leaders, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and partner with Sales, Finance and other functions to ensure alignment with growth objectives and profitability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, within packaging or print manufacturing.
• Experience as VP Operations, Director of Operations, Plant Manager, or General Manager.
• Strong knowledge of packaging manufacturing processes and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the manufacturing organization.
• Lead production, maintenance, quality, scheduling and other operational functions.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
• Establish clear KPIs, performance expectations and accountability throughout the organization.
• Drive improvements in productivity, throughput, labour efficiency, waste, downtime, quality and on-time delivery.
