Qualifications

• Mindestens 3 Jahre relevante Erfahrung in einer Elevator- oder Terminalumgebung.
• Erfahrung im Kundenservice ist erforderlich.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Senior Operations Assistant

The Senior Operations Assistant is responsible for duties related to handling grain throughout the Elevator, including maintaining clean and efficient physical facilities, receiving and handling grain shipments, and providing excellent customer service. This role may oversee work directions for lower-level Operations Assistants on a shift.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring compliance with corporate environment, health and safety policies, and best practices, including subcontractors;
• Adhering to environmental standards and all industry regulatory requirements and grading standards;
• Planning and supervising junior employees for operation transfers, reception, and expedition, if required;
• Operating Terminal control systems;
• Maintaining physical facilities to be clean, efficient, and well-maintained, and communicating maintenance needs;
• Receiving grain by truck, including weighing and documentation;
• Sampling grain prior to unloading and during transfer in the facility;
• Supervising and operating grain cleaning equipment to remove dockage;
• Binning and transferring grain;
• Applying official grade to shipped and received grain;
• Shipping grain, including handling rail cars and locomotives;
• Providing friendly and quality customer service to farmers and commercial truckers;
• Performing all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience at an Elevator and/or Terminal;
• Previous customer service experience is required;
• Farm or Agriculture industry experience is required.
