WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This role supports the execution of the Wealth Management Technology IT change and Incident Management process and execution of operational risk management (ORM) in line with Tech Currency strategy within WMT. The successful candidate will join our WM OPS Risk and Resilience team within the umbrella of WM IT Risk.

Individual contributor with advanced understanding of IT & Operational risk management practices, providing control and advisory services to application development, support teams and the Wealth Management Business. Services provided cover IT & operational risk analysis, risk awareness & advisory, risk & compliance exposure reporting and audit & regulatory response.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Responsible to drive IT Change management process such as approval, running Local CAB and represent WM in Enterprise CAB session.
• Continually identifies reporting improvements opportunities in the Change Management module within the organization ITSM tool (ServiceNow).
• Regularly review process and procedural document on change management process established by Enterprise Change Management body.
• Collaborate and Coach existing business towers personal on change management process to adhere by the current established local and Enterprise change management process.
• Execute identification, assessment and treatment recommendations for IT & Operational risks, with a focus on technology currency, Execute reporting and monitoring aspects of risk management for technology currency risk
• Responsible for execution and completion of select security exemptions acceptance workflow process from start to finish
• Contribute to the delivery of the IT & Operational risk awareness program, Support and advise WMTS on Operational Risk matters
• Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

• Strong understanding of ITIL Change Management process/practice.
• 3+ years of experience in IT and operational risk management processes, methods and tools
• A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
• Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project. Comfortable working with Excel and power point

Nice-to-have:

• CRISC, CISSP or CISA certifications
• Knowledge of GRC tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Archer)
• Knowledge of Wealth Management/Financial Services industry
