Job summary

CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking an Advanced Maintenance Technician (T & I) for an on-site, full-time role in Montreal. The candidate will develop standards, train staff, and troubleshoot a range of production and broadcasting systems in a multidisciplinary environment including networking, optics, electronics, and hydraulics.

The position requires a College diploma in electronics technology (DCS) and at least seven years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• College diploma in electronics technology (DCS) required.
• Minimum seven years of multidisciplinary environment experience.
• English language knowledge is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop standards and procedures to optimize production and broadcasting systems.
• Troubleshoot and recondition complex equipment during outages.
• Design and deliver technical training courses or seminars.
• Plan and supervise technicians and coordinate project work.
• Assess equipment performance and report on maintenance needs.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to resolve issues.
• Ensure documentation and toolsets accompany new equipment.
