Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee the Cernavoda 1 project, coordinating movement of materials, compliance with Canada/USA import/export laws, and liaison with customs brokers and stakeholders. The role emphasizes planning, resource management, and adherence to international trade rules, IAEA/IATA/ICAO standards, and internal procedures.

Responsibilities include developing a comprehensive project logistics plan, maintaining records, and ensuring timely turnover to clients.

Qualifications

Degree in Logistics or Materials Management from a recognized university or technical institute, or equivalent experience (≈10+ years).
Thorough knowledge of logistics principles, systems, regulations, and contractual terms.
Strong written communication and analytical abilities.
Good leadership and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

Manage logistics, traffic, customs, and duties for the Cernavoda 1 project from delivery to turnover.
Support Director Procurement and Project Management as required.
Develop and implement logistics procedures, plans and objectives to ensure compliance with regulations (Incoterms, quality program, etc.).
Ensure resources and internal/external communications align with project scope and logistics plans.
Interface with customs brokers and forwarders; monitor plan performance and record-keeping.
