Job summary

Caring Kindergartens Ltd is seeking a dedicated childcare professional to lead a group of children as a key worker. You will observe, record and support each child’s development within EYFS guidelines, delivering engaging play experiences and promoting a caring, secure nursery environment.

Ideal candidates will hold a Level 3 childcare qualification, have strong English skills, safeguarding knowledge, and a commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and act as key worker for a group of children, observing and assessing progress.
• Develop high quality interactions to extend children's thinking and learning.
• Plan and deliver a wide range of play experiences supporting physical, intellectual and emotional development.
• Ensure activities align with children’s next steps and EYFS requirements.
• Provide a positive model of behaviour to children and families.
• Maintain hygiene standards per Caring Kindergartens policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive nursery environment.
