Job summary

Sunshine Nursery School is seeking a Senior Early Years Practitioner to lead the nursery room, ensuring safe, caring, and inspiring play-based learning for children. You will supervise the team and contribute to a warm, nurturing environment across our settings.

Candidates should hold Level 3+ in Early Years, have EYFS knowledge, and excellent communication. Benefits include a welcome bonus, childcare discount, wellness day, and more.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to children while supervising your team.
• Identify areas for improvement in learning and teaching techniques or creating more stimulating experiences and environments.
• Ensure all record keeping requirements are completed and conduct team appraisals.
• Work with Room Leads and management to ensure the nursery runs successfully.

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday

Salary: Up to £14 per hour (depends on qualification and qualification)

How you’ll spend your time here

Day to day, you willdeliver care to the children whilst alsosupervising your team.

You’ll identify areas for improvements whether that relates tolearning and teaching techniques orcreating morestimulatingexperiences and environments. You will embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your room are met.

You’ll beresponsible for ensuring all record keeping requirements are regularly completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals. As the Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) you will work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.
