Job summary

Black & McDonald Limited is hiring a Nuclear Buyer for their Power Generation team based in Pickering or Bowmanville. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities from RFQ to PO closeout, ensuring compliance with CSA standards and fostering strong relationships with suppliers.

This role requires significant experience in procurement within the nuclear industry, strong negotiation skills, and a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business. Competitive compensation and benefits package included.

Qualifications

• 10 years of procurement experience within nuclear industry or related fields.
• Experience on medium to high risk and complexity projects.
• Quality Assurance experience related to supplier approvals and audits.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate purchase contracts for cost and quality.
• Ensure procurement compliance with CSA standards.
• Interpret BOMs and Technical Specifications.
• Develop and monitor procurement plans.
• Build relationships with suppliers and customers.
