Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Mississauga, Ontario is seeking a Sr Advanced Project Engineer to lead and manage advanced engineering projects within the Aerospace business unit. You will guide technical direction, manage schedules and budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality aerospace solutions.

The role reports to the Sr Engineering Program Manager and requires hybrid work in Mississauga.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Systems, Computer, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in new product development (NPD).
• Experience with embedded systems, avionics, aerospace electronics, or integrated hardware/software products.
• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional engineering projects.
• Willingness to work on commercial and military aerospace programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development projects from concept through qualification and production transition.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams including electrical, software, systems, and mechanical engineering.
• Interface with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support project execution.
• Support technical reviews, product development activities, and project performance reporting.
• Drive risk/opportunity management and support cost estimation activities.
