Myticas Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced Node.js API Developer (AWS) to support a major Canadian financial institution’s Digital Core modernization initiative in Toronto.

The role focuses on building secure, scalable B2C APIs, implementing authentication/authorization, and delivering serverless, event-driven solutions using AWS services. Collaboration with DevOps and mentoring junior developers are part of the mandate.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 1+ year of financial services experience.

Mansioni

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance Node.js applications, APIs and microservices on AWS.
• Implement API security enhancements, including authentication and authorization.
• Build serverless and event-driven solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS and DynamoDB.
• Design and implement scalable API integrations between services, systems and third-party platforms.
• Develop asynchronous messaging solutions using SQS and SNS.
• Design and optimize DynamoDB schemas, partitioning and indexing strategies.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code, conduct code reviews and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Optimize application performance, Lambda execution and AWS resource utilization.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and monitoring.
• Create technical documentation and mentor junior developers.
