Job summary

Mariner is seeking an experienced Network Solution Architect to join our enterprise architecture and infrastructure team. You will design scalable, secure network solutions across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud domains, with emphasis on reliability and risk management.

You will develop standards, roadmaps, and reference architectures, lead modernization efforts, and provide technical leadership to architects and engineers while collaborating with stakeholders and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Network Architecture or Infrastructure Design roles.
• Strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, QoS, IPv4/IPv6, OSPF, VPN).
• Experience designing enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, firewalls, segmentation, and secure connectivity.
• Experience with high-availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery architectures.
• Familiarity with network design, modeling, and documentation tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Industry-recognized networking certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS/JNCIP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE or equivalents.
• Cloud networking certifications (AZ-700, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Advanced Networking, Google Cloud Network) are strong assets.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale network solutions across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud, and security domains.
• Develop and maintain network architecture standards, roadmaps, and reference architectures.
• Lead network modernization, transformation, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
• Design highly available and resilient network infrastructures, including disaster recovery solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure network solutions meet security, compliance, and risk management requirements.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, designers, and engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, network diagrams, and technical standards.
• Work closely with vendors and service providers to support strategic initiatives.
