Job summary

New Value Solutions is seeking a Network Security Consultant to provide senior-level expertise for a large enterprise environment. You will join the Information Security Operations team, governing and designing security controls across on‑premises and hybrid cloud environments.

You will bring hands-on Cisco FTD/FMC, Umbrella/OpenDNS and Azure security skills, participate in architecture reviews, and guide remote access and incident response.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network security.
• Experience designing and governing network security in large enterprises.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco FTD and FMC.
• Experience with Umbrella/OpenDNS, WSA, Secure Malware Analytics, VPN, IPS/IDS.
• Knowledge of firewall architecture, zoning and zero-trust principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and govern enterprise network security controls.
• Provide senior SME across Cisco security technologies (FTD/FMC, Umbrella/OpenDNS, WSA).
• Oversee VPN and remote access security aligned with security standards and zero-trust.
• Review firewall rules and segmentation strategies; tune IPS/IDS for optimal security.
• Participate in Architecture Review Board for network/app architectures with security in mind.
• Secure hybrid on-premises and Azure environments; implement VNets, NSGs, and RBAC.
• Lead or support incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis.
• Document standards, architecture, and security controls for cross-functional teams.
