We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Network Engineer to join our team working on enhancing our enterprise data foundation capabilities to support our end users in delivering results swiftly, precisely and with the required level of detail.

You will be part of the team that will be working within Roche business units to excel implementation of their special use cases, often optimizing data storage and transfer, leveraging identity and access management tools, platform and network solutions.

You will contribute to the delivery of challenging projects which require deep technical knowledge and soft skills being responsible for the completion of milestones associated with them.

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to architect and implement AWS network solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in AWS networking, automation, and cloud infrastructure deployment.

• Architect and implement AWS network solutions.

• Develop automation scripts and tools to design and implement routing architectures, multi-region solutions, and HA connectivity solutions.

• Utilize "Infrastructure as Code" within CI/CD environments.

• Work with Source Code Management tools and Agile methodologies.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

• A minimum of 5-7 years experience architecting and implementing AWS network solutions and strong knowledge of AWS best practices and services.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience deploying Cloud infrastructure using "Infrastructure as Code" working in common CI/CD environments, such as Gitlab CI/CD, Rundeck, etc with proficiency working with Source Code Management tools, Gitlab, Github as well as experience developing or being proficient in reviewing Terraform code.

• Knowledge of advanced networking architectures and interconnectivity options (i.e., VPN, multiprotocol label switching, virtual private LAN services, etc.).

• Familiarity with the development of automation scripts and tools to design and implement routing architectures, multi-region solutions, HA connectivity solutions, etc.

• Knowledge of CIDR and subnetting, and basic knowledge of generic solutions for network security features (i.e., WAF).

• Familiarity with the "Test Driven Development" methodology and testing tools: testinfra, molecule, InSpec.

• Intermediate knowledge in consuming APIs using different programming languages: Python, PowerShell, Ansible.

• Familiarity with working in Agile methodologies and tools: Jira.
